Where is here is a project in which I was looking to investigate how much technology is having an effect on our navigation skills/awareness of our surroundings. For the first publication, I asked my classmates to map the route from one of our uni campuses to the other, with only the end points and the river for reference. I chose this route because after 3 years on the course, it is a bus route we all would have taken countless times, and I wanted to assess how much attention they pay to the journey. For the second publication I printed off a blank map of Bristol and asked people to pinpoint specific areas to see how well they knew their city.
