Ec2a is a record company. Ec2a references the postcode where the founders' father's old night club was located. The club was called Plastic People and it was a super intimate 200 cap basement club that hosted many iconic parties back in the day. Including being the epicentre of the dubstep movement via Rinse' night FWD. The client is a friend of mine and in 2020 he approached me to create some designs which encapsulate the era so that he could use them for clothing and stickers.
In early 2021, I worked with the client again to design a dubplate art work for a track he was releasing shortly.
