As another sub project for my degree exploring technology and it's effect on us, I held a work shop in an attempt to create solutions to 'digital dementia'. This is the idea that our devices and their convenience is having an effect on our core skills and memory. We are no longer required to do mental maths because we have a calculator in our pockets, we no longer have to remember who the actor was in that film because we can google it, we no longer have to remember who was at that party because we have a photo of it. The less we use our brains the less efficient they become. So I asked my class mates to take an example of the way technology may effect us and then in groups design a solution. I then took the best three and made them into 3 A1 posters.
